Exercise

Exercise has many great benefits, and sweating is one of them. When you sweat, your pores open up and oil is released. As long as you wash your face immediately after exercising, all of that oil will get washed away, leaving your skin healthy and clear. Another benefit to exercise is that the circulation of white blood cells is increased. These cells are able to travel to where your acne is and will help heal it quicker.

Water

This goes hand-in-hand with diet and exercise. Water helps flush out all of the toxins and impurities, and will keep your skin hydrated. Most experts recommend at least six glasses a day. When your skin is healthy, it can fight off blemishes, oil and impurities that can cause acne to develop. Try putting in slices of fruit for a change of taste. Filtered water is best, but tap water will do just fine if that’s all you have access to.

Get Enough Sleep

Sleep is your body’s time to re-energize itself and repair/restore cells and organs. When you have a restful sleep, your body has a much better chance of doing these things to its full potential. You will wake up feeling refreshed, and ready to take on the day. Your skin will thank you by appearing younger looking, wrinkle-free and blemish-free.

Avoid Alcohol

Too much drinking also causes premature aging, along with a host of other problems. It will make you dehydrated (hence the hangover the next morning) and your skin will lose that healthy glow that you’ve been working so hard to attain.

Alcohol will also lessen your body’s defenses to fight disease and infection. You will feel awful and you’ll look even worse. One or two drinks on occasion is fine, but your skin will suffer if you drink on a regular basis.
